AI & ML interests
Welcome to the Human-centered Intelligent System Lab (HCIS Lab) at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University! Our mission is to develop human-centered intelligent systems to augment human capabilities and make our lives better. Our research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, robotics, and developmental science. We design and implement computational frameworks by drawing inspiration from human (including children) interactions with the physical world. Additionally, we build interpretable intermediate representations from multimodal signals (e.g., videos, point clouds, and tactile) for behaving in human-centric environments. Last but not least, we explore co-designing these systems with users.
