See https://github.com/huggingface/transformers/issues/30117 and https://github.com/huggingface/transformers/pull/30128 for an explanation of what's going on here! I think the torch weights were quite old, and the safetensors bot made some slightly malformed safetensors as a result. This PR should fix them.
This looks good in testing, merging!
